A big city. A hot summer night. Love stories mesh with one another by means of six vehicles: Two cars, an ambulance, a taxi, a bus and a truck.
In the vehicles, the characters carry their lives’ heavy luggage: two teenagers steal a car looking for high-speed adventures, a taxi driver has just been betrayed, a truck driver with no sentimental experience is in love with a prostitute, a lover with a lot of bad experiences, a nurse who can’t forget, a woman who’s abandoned for no reason and a wife who’s tired of waiting.
Like leaves running down a stream, the vehicles move around the city borders and flow into a bigger river, into another road, where our characters will be pulled towards the same direction without knowing that their lives are utterly connected.
In RUMBOS, a real time tragicomedy, we dive into the lives of characters whose broken dreams, frustrations, desires, longings develop in such a way that the spectator will realise that their paths are ruthlessly related.
