The Island of the Pheasants is the smallest condominium in the world. Half of the year it belongs to the Spanish state and the other half to the French. It emerges in the middle of the Bidasoa River, a natural border that separates both states.

Laida (Jone Laspiur) and Sambou (Sambou Diaby), a local couple, stroll in front of the island. Suddenly they see two people crossing the river by swimming to try to reach the other side. Days later a corpse appears during the sovereignty exchange of the island. Who takes charge?
