Kilian Jornet made history on 22 May 2017 by reaching the summit of Everest (8,848m) in just 26 hours, alone, without oxygen or fixed ropes. A few days later, he did it again for the second time, under the same conditions, leaving the whole world astonished. Through unpublished and exclusive footage, the documentary shows not only his last adventure on Mount Everest, but also reviews his extraordinary sport progression from its beginning in trail running and skimountain, to the ascensions to the most emblematic mountains in the world, always following his philosophy of ‘Lighter, faster’.
But ‘KILIAN JORENT, PATH TO EVEREST’ will not only show the more competitive and mediatic Kilian, but through exclusive interviews, we will get to know the most human and intimate side of Kilian, with his fears, contradictions and also the reasons that drive him to put his life at risk looking for the limits of human capacity.
