A traumatic incident emotionally paralyzed firefighter Marcos (Roberto Álamo), leaving him clinically incapable of empathizing with those around him. His daughter Lola (Claudia Place), a bright and curious 10-year old, IS THE ONE who bears the brunt of his sentimental indifference as she has no other adult to turn to.
What was once a cause for social awkwardness soon leads to on-the-job negligence when Marcos’s inability to recognize emotions puts a person’s life in danger. If he is to avoid jail time, Marcos must enter a psychiatric facility. There, his unique disorder will place two doctors with diametrically imposed methodologies at odds: the young psychologist Luna (Manuela Vallés) and the renowned Dr. Durán (Pedro Casablanc). Their head-to-head will lead to drastic changes for all, as it helps Marcos to connect with his past, recover his emotions and offer him the opportunity to live again.
