Before leaping onto the big screen, this actor trained at the RESAD in Madrid, participated with spontaneous roles in national drama series and numerous short films, most notably El Paraguas (2001). His leap onto the big screen occurs with the film Sobre el arco iris (2003) by Gonzalo López-Gallego. His second feature is the successful El penalti más largo del mundo (2005) with Fernando Tejero and and directed by Roberto Santiago. The turning point in his career comes with Princesas (2005) by Fernando León de Aranoa, achieving a Goya nomination for Best Actor. Since then, he has starred in the films of Roberto Santiago El club de los suicidas and Al final del camino, plus a small role in Steven Soderbergh's Che: Guerrilla and La caja Kovak, La mujer del anarquista by Marie Noelle or El patio de mi cárcel by Belen Macias.
